They finished high school online, but on Thursday night at 7:30 p.m., seniors from Fivay, Zephyrhills and Wesley Chapel High Schools will get to graduate alongside their families and friends.

What You Need To Know

  • Pasco County is holding in-person graduations for the class of 2020.

  • Limited number of guests.

  • Groups will be seated apart on the schools’ football fields.

  • Scroll down for dates and times of the remaining commencements.

The commencements are being held outdoors.

Each graduate is allowed to bring two guests, and each group of three will be seated together – safely separated from the other groups – on the schools’ football fields.

Back in June, the students were honored with virtual ceremonies, after the coronavirus pandemic forced Pasco County Schools to cancel all in-person events.

The remote graduations featured prerecorded speeches from school principals and classmates.

This time around, a rendition of Pomp and Circumstance – recorded individually and compiled by student musicians from around the school district – will be played before the seniors receive their diplomas.
