Mother of slain Florida teen shot during burial service
COCOA, Fla. (AP) — An unknown gunman fired into a crowd gathered at a Saturday afternoon burial service of a teenager who was fatally shot by a Florida sheriff’s deputy earlier this month, officials said.
The deceased teen’s mother was wounded by the bullet, Florida Today reported.

Florida on track to top 1 million total coronavirus cases this week
TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – This week Florida is on track to become the third state in the nation after Texas and California to surpass one million total cases of coronavirus.
The first two cases announced by the Florida Department of Health back on March 1 were both from the Tampa Bay area: a 29-year-old Hillsborough County woman who returned from Italy and a 64-year-old Manatee County man.

40 cold-stunned turtles from Cape Cod receive treatment in Florida Keys
(NBC) – Dozens of sea turtles are recovering after becoming cold-stunned in the waters off Cape Cod.
Forty sea turtles arrived to the Florida Keys on Saturday to receive treatment. They are primarily juveniles and are critically endangered Kemp’s ridley sea turtles.
